Teobaldo Santini was born in Vinci on September 25 , 1925.He worked under the name Teobaldo da Vinci to differ from his homonymous Tuscan painters and in Leonardo’s honour, the greatest of his fellow townsmen; they share not only the same hometown and   an approach to the technological future but also an approach to the expected past                  MASTER CRAFTSMAN from 1950 to 1990, he had his studio where he produced neon sign and as graphic designer he designed marks for light advertising. He invented new colors with fluorescent substances, such as absolute white, sea-green, purple and, first in Italy, he realized lighting neon signs.

At the beginning of the seventies, after a figurative art period with oil paintings, he came        to sculpture-painting and produced all plexiglas paintings, that he introduced for the first time  in 1974at the exhibition ARTS AND SPORTS in Florence, as a guest artist invited by    Professor Nocentini,with his painting Olympics '72, Evolutions of Figure-Skating.using the    concept of magnetic waves in space. He was concerned with electromagneticphenomena as  the had sensed the importance of magnetic waves, thus announcing 25 yearsin advance what the scientists  from all over the world are still studying as a threat oftheelectromagnetic pollution  to our neurovegetative system. this futuristic expression was realized by means of the  sculptures in plexiglas  block  
He  exhibited for the first time at Palazzo Grassi in Venice in 1979  

He participated in more than 350 exhibitions in Italy and abroad 

1999/2000 Permanent collection in five exhibition halls at Impruneta 

Since 1997 he exhibits his works on Internet 

In 2000 he contributed to the monographic VIDEO
